On the TurboJet ferry ride over to Macau, I finally got to see my little bit in Horizon magazine! It was a short little piece on how I organize my closet. I should be getting a “press” page up soon on my blog..so you can read the little bit whenever I get around to that :D

A couple of weeks ago, my older sister was visting from NY so we went out for some super spiceh Sichuan hotpot! We got a ying-yang pot where half was super super chili soup and the other was some super yummy pear sth soup for my mom. If you’ve never had Sichuan hot pot, just imagine the most spicy, tongue-numbing yet incredibly delicious hot foods you could ever put in your mouth. MmmMmMMMMmmm..

We ordered 2 large size beef mountains and 1 small one…between 4 of us wahahahhaah

I love the hot pot places where you have to concoct your own little dipping sauce..mmmmmm i wanted to take a giant jar of my own sauce home :D

And now lastly, the giveaway! I’m sure you all know how bushy and caterpillar-like my eyebrows are by now…and I have gotten some rude/hate/jealous comments about them..but honestly, I don’t care how bushy and ridiculous they look cos i love my thick caterpillar eyebrows! Unfortunately, I don’t just wake up with magically dark bushy eyebrows (lol what) so I draw (more like FILL) mine in every morning. I usually switch around between a Maybelline crayon or the Bobbi Brown palette but I’ve heard so many great things about the Anastasia brand! Thankfully, my love of thick eyebrows got around and the kind people sent me over a little Eyebrow kit!

It comes with a helpful guide to doing your eyebrows and some cool templates/stencils for shaping them.

I used the brow wax thingy before and after I put on the powder which helps the colour to stay all day.

Last week was seriously an eventful week! The second half of the week was chockfull of events to go to and wonderful people to meet up with. Being the granny that I am, by Friday I was exhaaausted and had to skip out on some of the fun ):

Sooo to begin, on Wednesday we were invited to the MAC Me Over event! Last fall, MAC held a contest where anyone could compete by sending in videos of themselves with the phrase “MAC me over because…” and the winners of the competition are lucky to become the face and inspiration behind the new campaign!

The event was the launch party for the campaign and collection and there were tons of make-over counters and make-up artists giving guests new faces and generally having some make-up fun!

This is the first update of the eventful week, can’t wait to show you guys what happened the rest of the week!

Did anyone notice the new blog layout? I quickly spent some time tweaking things around last weekend so this isn’t fully updated yet..but what do you guys think so far? Any comments/suggestions? I also FINALLY got some new blog/design business cards printed up so can’t wait to show you guys!

Okay this week got me totally drained so now I’m going to lie in bed with PB and watch some movies! Have a great week everyone!

Playing around with the Aura by Swarovski make-up jewel lip gloss that I got. Since the make-up jewel itself is already set with Swarovksi crystals, it’s pretty blingy, so I thought to tone down what I’m wearing with just a white tshirt but then I threw on my sequined motorcycle jacket to add some HARDCORE yet ~*sparkly*~ edge.

The Crystal Gloss Pink lip colour is a really subtle rosey pink that blends in really well over lipstick or just regular lip balm and because it’s lipgloss you’d THINK it’d be really shiny but it’s actually not that glossy which I loved. After doing my homework online, I found out that the lip gloss is actually enriched with powdered, micronized Swarovski crystal and iridescent Crystal Shine powder that make your lips shine. How cool is that? CRUSHED SWAROVSKI on my LIPS? So awesome.
