Few Saturdays ago I spent the day with ninz around our favourite shopping place, Causeway Bay. We walked and window-shopped forever and ended up getting matching sandals for Summer :D I finally got to wear out my Forever 21 sunglasses (the A.Wang inspired ones) that Lynn managed to help me get from Singapore (yay!) and wore out my new polka dot jumpah rumpah (which is what my mom calls a rhomper and thus what I shall forever onwards call a rhomper). Lately I’ve been falling for everything polka dot and have my eye on a million and one new things that I want (uhh what’s new huh?). I’m so glad May is already almost over..before we know it, my next paycheque will be ready for me to deposit :D

Browsing through Izzue always ends with a snack from Sogo. Normally I hate bananas. I hate their smell, I hate the taste and I definitely deteste the mushiness. BUTTTTTTTT, bananas plus Nutella in a crepe? The ONLY time I’ll eat real bananas.

Of course Nanz the piglet had to also get a peach mochi from Mochi Cream.

Way back on Mother’s Day, we took ma mere out to lunch at Agnes B Le Pain Grille on Leighton Road. We absolutely LOVE Agnes B LPG Cafe so taking mother nature out to the actual restaurant was a must.

Just as a side note, the lunchset was $198HK for an appetizer/soup + main + tea/coffee + one of Agnes B signature cakes/pastries. SO freaking worth it!! We were all stuffed to the brim and fully fully satisfied.

The cute little French-like interior was a great setting for us. It’s just so cosy and homey in there. Of course our table (out of only about 10-ish tables) was the loudest and everyone would look at us when we all burst out laughing like we owned the place. We also managed to stay there for like 3 hours!

LOL mom’s the best. My brother was like “no mom, noo, you have to do the GANGSTAH pose like this!”

Now for the food. The warm little bread rolls were so amazing. They had the classic Agnes B icons baked onto them. And of course, in true Lai form, we managed to rip through about 4 of these bread baskets.

Skipping rigghhtt past my soup (Cream of Broccoli) straight to my STEAK. I had the Grilled Prime Rib Eye topped with Café de Paris with roasted potatos and veggies.

Hello! I’m back! Honestly didn’t expect myself to be gone from my blog for that long (about two weeks, which is actually..normal) and I had honestly been meaning to blog for a while now just that……………..nvm no need any excuses. Wore the first outfit out for lunch with Julie and walking around with Nanz then finally ended the day with dinner and a movie with PB. Perfect day really, except for my outfit..which I threw together in literally 5 minutes (late for lunch with Jubs!) but it was honestly a sweatpants kinda day and thought I’d fashion it up a bit with my Gap x Pierre Hardy sandals which turned out to be a baddddd idea (out from noon to evening = no fun for feet).

The second outfit was just from today! Spent the whole day with PB where we went from Vietnamese lunch to H&M to Clash of the Titans to CPK and finally home to play Fabel 2!!!!! Pretty dang awesome day really. The necklace I’m wearing is actually 2 separate necklaces I made (a chain-y one and a fringe-y one) that I just looped together. So this is what I bought at Miu Miu!! I tweeted about it a few weeks ago and finally had the chance to post it up. There are at least 4 different ways you can hold the bag (strap-wise). Honestly, I think it’s a better investment than the Mulberry Alexa as it is much more durable (leather-lined) and Miu Miu has better re-sale value (not that I plan to resell it or anything). The hardware also seems much more sturdy/long-lasting and I can actually put it on my shoulder (hobo-bag style) unlike the Alexa (only elbow style or long-strap way). Anyway I love it velly velly velly much and so happy it’s my first big investment of my own :D

Got a new lipstick from Chanel Rouge Coco collection (no.76, Sari Doré) and Chanel nail polish in Particulière (taupe). You can see my new lip colour in those 2nd set of outfit photos :D Kinda coral-ly orange.

Picked up this ring at the jewellery fair that I went to a couple weeks back with my mom. No idea what kind of stone it is but I liked that it was semi-clear/see-through when you held it up to a light. (Also, dunno if you can tell but I’m wearing my new Chanel nail colour in these pics),

Spotted these pretty awesome boot things from Venilla Suite (I dunno either, don’t ask me). I love how they’re kind of A.Wang creeper boots-ish mixed with the pointy Underground buckle boots. Not sure how much they were and I don’t think I’d be able to rock them but they’re hot nonetheless.

Pretty much all random/old necklaces except for the Dolce & Gabbana rosary

Omg so it’s been a million and a half years since I’ve last updated and really I can’t even think of a good enough excuse. Maybe not being able to find my memory stick reader is good enough..srlsy wherethefuck are you!? Pissing off as you can tell..okay anyway..moving on…some current events:

Few weeks ago we attended the Gucci fashion show held at TDC. It was pretty fun although the show started well late and I was getting zleeeepy. The shoes were, of course, absolutely amazing and super super high – so high that some of the models were literally LEANING BACK *cue Terror Squad’s Lean Back* in order to walk properly. There was one EXTREMELY pouty male model that was pretty much pulling a Blue Steel.
This was the only photo I took at Gucci..off my crappy Nokia, during the finale walk down.
I haven’t bought ANY clothes in ages and I feel like my wardrobe is just falling apart. I literally wear the same thing all the time -.- so I bought some silly dark grey acid-wash type jumper dress thing yesterday..just for the sake of buying something.
Went to the YSL Manifesto thingy in Central which actually just meant lining up and receiving the bag, getting questionnaired, then leaving instantly. For some reason my stupid brain didn’t think I had to get there earlier so I arrived maybe 30 mins before they started handing them out. The line was inSANELY long by then and it was flaming hot by the time I trecked to the end. Now for some strange reason, Hong Kong people LOOOOOOOOOOOVE to line up…seriously for ANYTHING. On my way down the line I saw at least 3 OLD couples lining up..OLD meaning 60+ years old. When Hong Kong people see a line, they just join it, REGARDLESS of what it is. They’ll line up for hours not knowing what it is and if they get to the front and perhaps realise they hafto pay for whatever, they’ll just be like “oh nvm” and walk away. I’m pretty sure all the granny old couples lining up for YSL had NO idea what they were lining up for..and when they received their bag..they’ll probably just bring it home and dump it with all the other useless crap they’ve accumulated over the years. Anyway more pictures on this below (unfortunately, none of the grannies).

Ooooooooooomg guys. Spotted this cute little baby and his VINTAGE stroller on my way to the bus. This baby is sporting an OLD SCHOOL China haircut sitting in his OLD SCHOOL stroller. Srsly that thing was all wood, all paint and NO PADDING. and his HAIR. hahahaha omg seriously babies in China back in the day had this haircut hahaha too cute.

Wah! Two outfits in one post! Yeh yeh yeh! This was what I wore out the day of the YSL Manifesto thing. I hardly wear contacts..just cos it’s not good for my eyes but did that day cos it was sooooooo sunny and wanted to wear my Raybee Wayfarers out for the first time! Don’t think I’ve posted on here that I got them. I know eeeeeeeeveryone and their mother has a pair…(literally, my mother got a pair before me) but I bet not even half of everyone got theirs for $50us!!!! And no, they’re not fake nor second hand..but incase you were wondering, they’re straight outta Century 21 :D
