I’m writing to you from the future!!!! I’ve scheduled this post to go up whilst I’m away enjoying my much-needed holiday in Singapore. Hopefully this scheduled thingy works out cos the last time I tried..it just posted right away -.-

I’d been dyyyyyyyyying for scallop-hem shorts for a while now every since Chloe Sevigny rocked that amazing Chloe blazer and shorts with the straw hat (I’m sure you don’t need a visual..I bet we’ve all saved that same pic on our computer). I also tweeted that this was the first time in probably years that I’m wearing a belt for aesthetic as opposed to funcitonal reasons. I wore my skinny leopard ponyhair belt (that I bought from Uniqlo 100 years ago-gosh I’m just so hip) over my scallop shorts. You can tell the belt is super old cos all the ponyhair has flattened out and is fading off at the front. I’m so in love with those long (skinny) belts that are twisted into cute knots so I’ve been wearing my belt like this lately :D

This outfit was NOT taken on my mama’s birthday, but here are some photos from her big day anyway. We had her birthday dinner at Jardin de Jade which is just a fancy French name for a Shanghainese restaurant -.- The food was guhhhhhhhhhhhhhmayzzzzaaaannngggggg except their suen lat tong (hot&sour soup) was unfortunately abysmal~ It was neither suen (sour) or lat (hot) which equals epic Fail.

Hong Kong is super fashionable. People here are always on point with trends and there’s a great mix of styles influenced from Japan, England, Hippies/Boho-look and lots of hip-hop as well.

Ugh I never know how to answer this! I’d like to think that I’m a really girly tomboy…? I like to dress casual but play up my outfit with tons of accessories and, when needed, a killer pair of shoes.

Arapaima. Biggest fresh water fish and these things eat like MONSTERS. We watched a feeding session and they have like an inner mouth bit like in ALIENS. Fucking awesome. These things were probably longer than 5 feet.

He’s coming ATCHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (cleopatraaaaaaaa, comin’ atchaaaaa ♫♫♫). Notice the guy in the back? They had this thing where you can pay 2000baht extra to “ocean walk” which was put this suit thingie on and walk in the shark tank. Nothing too exciting though, we watched someone do it and once he hit the water, the sharks just swam away so he barely even got to see anything. Lame~

• Hands down the BEST aquarium I’ve been to yet. We stayed there for like 4 hours :D
• I didn’t buy anything except for my awesome shark ring that I tweeted about.
• Can’t wait for our next getaway together <3 hopefully Japan?
• Impulsively bought a Fuji Instax-mini instant camera just now, which I’m very excited to start using :D
• I’m off to Singapore this Thursday for about 5 days to see family etc. We’re hoping to go to the Night Safari which I haven’t been to since I was young. I heard it’s pretty dang awesome so I’m very very excited!! Any suggestions on cute little shops and any fairs/markets to hit up? Hopefully I’ll get to stop by The Little Dröm Store.

Yay big head!

Does this shirt look familiar? Especially to anyone who went to primary and/or secondary school in Hong Kong? Why yes! Yes it IS the school uniform shirt from my Halloween costume! I tooooooooold you guys that I’d wear my uniform again! I paired them with these new shorts that are exact copies of the A.Wang boxer/brief shorts that Nanz got, except the waistband is a regular elastic waistband. Anyway, I thought I’d fashin-up my uniform shirt with tons of jewellery (as usual) and my Wayfies to look coooool (H).

That night, me and PB went for some FRESH seafood near his place. Between the two of us, we ordered 4 dishes! Too much..as usual..we always over do it!! I honestly love love love these meals with PB cos it’s always fun, stuffing and we always have a good time :)

My favouriteeeeeee: clams in black bean sauce. SOOO GOOOD!!!

Sweet and sour garoupa. As you can see, PB couldn’t even wait till I took my photo before grabbing some.

Cubed angus beef with champagne and grape sauce. This was so good. The dish came wrapped in tin foil and we cut it open then poured the champagne and grape sauce over it and it sizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzled. So good.

Moving on…you may have noticed in my outfit pics…my new ring! Yep, PB got me the infamous YSL Arty ring for my belated birthday present :D So happy!! I love it!! I asked the sales lady what happens if the stone drops out..and she said that if I still have it then they’ll send it in to get it fixed, but if it drops and I lost the stone, then there’s nothing they can do. However, she said no one has ever come in reporting that the stone dropped..so I’m hoping it never will! I’m trying to be EXTRA safe when wearing it cos I tend to be kinda cho-lo (haphazard?) normally.

For my birthday this year I got 3 rings! My previous post was the Philipe Audibert one, from Nanz. This is my second one from PB and I’ll post the last one in my next update, from my mom!

I finally picked up the latest Elle UK with Lily Allen on the cover. Firstly, Elle UK is definitely one of my favourite magazines. Their editorials always blow me away but I normally only buy an issue if I like who’s on the cover, i.e. Lily Allen (love her). So i just thought I’d share some of my favourite looks from this month:

P.S. I’m off to Bangkok tomorrow with PB for a quick weekend getaway! We’re really excited cos it’s our first real holiday together..and it’s also PB’s first time in Thailand! I’ve been there a couple of times already but when I was younger, so I’m really excited to go back even if it’s for such a short time. Will update when I get back!
